Uses:
Bone glue has a wide range of uses as an adhesive for
paper, cardboard, wood, felt, and fabric, for rubberizing and coating, in
bookbinding, instrument and case manufacturing, for restoring picture frames,
for gilding, for gluing color pigments, and as a glazing agent.
In leather processing, it is mainly used for edge
sealing.
Bone glue is obtained from slaughterhouse cattle bones and
has a characteristic odor.
