Sewing set for leather work: "The saddler’s tool
bag"
The basic set for leatherworkers enables sewing in the
traditional saddlery style.
The cotton bag contains an "OSBORNE" brand sword
awl and round awl for re-stitching and repairing seams, and a curved awl (flat
awl), also from "OSBORNE", each ready-mounted in a handle.
Wax for the
enclosed linen thread, strength 18/3, an assortment of saddler's needles with
blunt tips and a pointed sewing needle are also included, as is an assortment of
furrier's, upholsterer's, leather, sail, carpet and packing
needles.
